The dedicated committee members of the BEAUTY Project recently undertook a significant mission in Ipoh, Perak. Their goal was twofold: to heighten awareness about the BEAUTY Project and to establish professional relationships with the salons, barbershops, and beauty shops that serve as community touchpoints..

Their proactive approach sought to weave health and wellness into the fabric of the beauty industry. The team journeyed through Ipoh, visiting numerous salons and barbershops, sharing the vision of the BEAUTY Project, and extending invitations for collaboration. These interactions were pivotal in opening doors to potential partnerships, fostering health advocacy within local communities.

In addition to these salon visits, the team actively participated in a cancer and health screening event, coinciding with the opening of NCSM-Caritas Home of Hope in Simee, Ipoh.
