The committee members of the BEAUTY Project recently embarked on an enlightening journey through Melaka, Malaysia. Their mission was twofold: to raise awareness about the BEAUTY Project and to foster professional relationships with salons, barbershops, and other beauty establishments, as well as their respective communities.
This proactive approach to community engagement aimed to spread the message of health and wellness through the beauty industry. By visiting a multitude of salons, barbershops, and beauty shops in Melaka, the team shared the vision of the BEAUTY Project and extended a hand of collaboration to these businesses. These interactions opened the door to future partnerships that can promote health and wellness within local communities.
In addition to these salon visits, the team also made a stop at Mahkota Hospital. This visit showcased the commitment of the BEAUTY Project to engage with healthcare institutions and explore potential avenues for collaboration. These collective efforts reflect the dedication to building a network of health advocates and allies who will contribute to a healthier and more informed society.
