December 2022 Barber Visit
11 December 2022 – Our committee members visited multiple different salons, barbershops, and other beauty shops around Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The purpose of these visits was to increase awareness of the BEAUTY project as well as to establish communications with salons, barbers, beauticians, and their respected communities.
The BEAUTY project utilises the setting of community barber shops and beauty salons in Malaysia as a vessel to communicate and educate the public in Malaysia regarding cancer. In December 2022, we visited:
